The COVID-19 Pandemic has brought to the forefront many heroes. Some in places we would not have thought of before now. Home health care is one of those arenas that we are now seeing those heroes. They have always been there but are now being brought into the spotlight because of the need for sheltering in place and quarantine orders.
With group settings no longer considered safe during viral and flu outbreaks for those over 65 or the immune compromised home care is being recognized as an important health care option. Home care being provided to seniors and those recovering from illness or injury is helping prevent the spread of this deadly virus.
